C-PROTECT AIR®
AIRBAG TECHNOLOGY
C-PROTECT AIR® technology refers to the system inside the mechanical airbag vest used by the brand SEGURA EQUITATION.

A lanyard attaching the vest to a special strap on the horse’s saddle (saddle strap) triggers the airbag if the wearer is unseated. This lifeline activates the airbag which will automatically deploy when detached.
​
Our airbag system acts as a kinetic energy absorber. When a rider falls from their horse, the airbag fills with air, cushioning and absorbing a large portion of the energy of the impact and reducing the risk of injury.

The C-Protect Air® thus provides maximum personal protection with exceptional comfort and a efficient, stylish design.

CERTIFICATION
Drawing on many years’ experience of motorcycling equipment, our engineers have developed a vest especially adapted for horse riding and certified by a French laboratory.

A variety of tests are carried out such as, for example, impact reduction tests to measure the shock-absorbing potential of the protective equipment, or analyses concerning the non-toxicity of the materials (the CO2 in the canister is harmless for both rider and horse).
